Arasta Bazaar

Arasta Bazaar in Sultanahmet is one of the historical bazaars of Istanbul. There are more than 70 shops selling various items of handicrafts. The bazaar behind the Sultanahmet Mosque was known as the Sipahiler Bazaar during the Ottoman period; because the equipment of the sipahis were sold in this market.
