Fatih Sultan Mehmet Tomb

The tomb of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror is in the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Mosque and Complex in the Fatih district of Istanbul.

The tombs of many important names in Ottoman history, especially the tomb of Mehmed the Conqueror, are here. Fatih's wife and II. The tombs of Bayezid's mother Gülbahar Valide Sultan, the "Hero of Plevne" Gazi Osman Pasha, and the mesnevi commentator Abidin Pasha are in the graveyard. The graves of Grand Viziers, Shaykh al-Islams, field marshals and many scientists are here.
