New Year celebrations were held on Bağdat Avenue, one of the symbolic points of Istanbul.
Citizens who came to Bağdat Avenue in the evening hours gathered for the countdown minutes before the New Year. The excitement that increased with the countdown lasted for long minutes. Citizens took souvenir photos on the street decorated before the New Year. The fireworks show and confetti feast after the countdown added color to the entertainment.
