Istanbul Toy Museum

Istanbul Toy Museum, one of the first addresses for those looking for places to visit in Istanbul with children, was founded by Sunay Akın in 2005. The historical nature of the building in which it is located, the fact that the toys have been stored for at least 300 years ago and the display of 4000 toys from different periods are among the features that make this museum unique.

Istanbul Toy Museum also hosted the meeting of European Toy and Children's Museums, which was held for the first time in 2012. For this reason, Istanbul was given the title of "capital of toy museums". This was not his only contribution to the cultural development of our country, and he also pioneered the opening of toy museums in cities such as Antalya and Gaziantep.
