Pera Museum, located in the building of the Bristol Hotel built in 1983, is one of the most preferred museums to visit in Istanbul. Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation commissioned Mimar Sinan Genim to restore this museum and turn it into a museum, and in 2005, the hotel was opened to visitors as Pera Museum.
Pera Museum's own collections include "Orientalist Painting", "Anatolian Weight Measures" and "Kütahya Tiles and Ceramics". Apart from this, of course, different exhibitions are also held in the museum. Especially the exhibitions organized in cooperation with the world's most important museums attract a lot of attention. The museum also serves as a cultural center.
