Sadberk Hanim Museum

Sadberk Hanım Museum, located in the Azeryan Mansion, was founded in 1980 by the Vehbi Koç Foundation. The building, which is the first private museum of our country, consists of two wooden mansions dating from the nineteenth century.

The museum, which received the "Europa Nostra" award in 1988, houses the collection of the famous collector Hüseyin Kocabaş, as well as ethnographic works such as traditional handicrafts, ornaments decorated with precious stones, and clothes and fabrics from the 16th and 18th centuries that Sadberk Hanım collected throughout her life. With its contents, it has become a small archaeological museum.

You can visit the museum between 10:00 and 17:00, except Wednesdays.
