Sokullu Mehmet Pasha Mosque

The mosque, which was built in an area surrounded by a 2-meter wall on the Kadırga slope between the Sultanahmet Mosque and the Küçük Hagia Sophia Mosque, was built by Sokollu Mehmet Pasha and its architect was Mimar Sinan. It is located on a sloping land, with a single minaret and a single dome. It is one of the mosques bearing Sokollu Mehmet Pasha's name in two places in Istanbul.
