Thai Airways now in Istanbul

Thailand's national airline, Thai Airways, made its first flight to Istanbul Airport. According to the statement made by Istanbul Airport operator İGA, with Thai Airways, the number of airline companies hosted by Istanbul Airport increased to 99.
Thai Airways, based at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, organizes direct flights to Istanbul Airport with 321-seat, 2-class A350-900 type aircraft. On December 1, 2023, at 23.45, flight number TG900 departed from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, and arrived in Istanbul.
İGA Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Selahattin Bilgen, whose views were included in the statement, stated that they aim to start working with 100 airline companies by the end of 2023, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.
