The Topkapı Dagger

The Topkapı Dagger, decorated with emeralds and diamonds, which was commissioned by Sultan Mahmud I as a gift to Nadir Shah, but was kept in the Topkapı Palace treasury after the Shah's death, is among the world's most important treasures. The dagger, which is considered the most valuable dagger in the world, has three 3-4 millimeter emerald stones on its handle and a single piece of emerald stone on the cover at the top of the handle.
